Led by Suzanne Toone and Kacie Steinmetz, the Beginner Workshop Series is designed to meet the needs of those who are new to yoga or those who want a refresher course. In a light-hearted and supportive atmosphere, this four-week series will explore the fundamentals of yoga, including: specific alignment for foundational poses, proper breathing techniques, connecting breath to movement, utilizing props and modifications, relaxation techniques, discussion of mindfulness, honoring the body, and intro to yoga philosophy.
