A slower-paced mat class that combines dynamic and static stretching with Pilates exercises that lengthen the muscles and promote mobility of the spine. Stretching can assist with well-being by reducing muscle tightness, increasing stability and control by teaching body awareness and giving you more freedom with your movements. A full body stretch and release will rejuvenate both the body and soul. Classes may include small apparatus (foam rollers, spikey balls, bands) to assist with lengthening and the release of muscles.
