Yin Yoga is a style of yoga that is used to balance more vigorous practices by focusing solely on the stretching aspects of yoga creating a deep stretch in the connective tissues by holding postures for an extended period of time. This style of yoga helps prevent injuries and increases range of motion; targeting the muscles and connective tissue of the hips, pelvis, spine and shoulders. Infrared heat helps facilitate deep opening in the ligaments and tendons while at the same time relieving stress and strengthening muscle tissues. When you feel the need to recharge yourself, this class will provide a soothing respite. This class is great for anyone looking to work through some tensile tissue and become more flexible in a safe environment, or anyone who just wants to stretch out after a heavy workout at the gym or sports game. It is also an excellent choice for students suffering from chronic illness. (Hot) Note; there is no use of actual rubber bands. We are going to make you into a rubber band. lol, we are trying to be funny.
