Enjoy a more athletic approach to yoga with a faster pace and challenging sequence that builds heat, stamina, lean muscle mass, and increased flexibility. Non-traditional music is used during this practice to bring more energy to the sequences. This yoga practice is at a quick pace, 1-3 breaths per pose, so you should have an established practice. Cardio and strength training is incorporated throughout. Classes will follow a four-week interval schedule that will include core, leg, arm, and back strength. Embrace your inner power and build your strength!
Props such as straps and blocks may be necessary – students are encouraged to bring their own props as the studio will not provide them (due to covid restrictions).
This class has a normal temperature of 74-77F.
This is an open level class, but previous yoga experience recommended.
