In this 8 week online course, Naader will introduce you to Lord Krishna's message as spiritually translated and interpreted by Paramahansa Yogananda in The Yoga of the Bhagavad Gita.
The message is the perfect answer for the modern age, and any age: Yoga of dutiful action, of nonattachment, and of meditation for God-realization. The historical battle portrayed in the Bhagavad Gita is an allegory of the inner conflict between man's based materialistic instincts and his innate yearning to attain the blissful spiritual consciousness of oness with the Divine.
In The Yoga of the Bhagavad Gita, Paramahansa Yogananda's English rendering was done with an understanding of the profound inner symbology hidden in the Sanskrit verses - symbology which, rightly understood, reveals previously undisclosed depth in the Gita as a consumate guidebook to the science of yoga and the art of spiritual living in the material world.
The online course will consist of:
-8 weekly guided online group meetings on Wednesdays from 7-8:30pm discussing Yogananda's spiritual interpretation, The Yoga of the Bhagavad Gita. Each group meeting will be recorded and available to participants for 7 days.
-Community forums to share experiences with other participants.
