Ayurveda views seasonal transitions as important opportunities for cleansing and rejuvenation. The transition from winter to spring is a time to clear the excess heavy and cold qualities that have accumulated throughout the winter, and which left unchecked lead to seasonal colds, allergies, and excess weight. During this April Spring Cleanse process, we’ll take an Ayurvedic, food-based approach to cleansing and rejuvenation. This integrated, effective approach will leave you feeling clearer, cleaner, and renewed.

How does it work?
Our Ayurvedic seasonal cleanses consist of food and lifestyle practices to best align with the doshic influences of the season. You’ll be instructed in recommended home practices for optimal functioning of digestion, elimination, and immune systems. This is a month to clear last season’s accumulations and gently reset the system for the season ahead.
The cleanse process occurs in three phases- Preparation, Purification, and Rejuvenation. You’ll be guided through each phase by Kara Aubin, an experienced Ayurvedic Practitioner, ParaYoga teacher, Herbologist, and Holistic Health Coach.
Who is cleansing appropriate for?
An Ayurvedic food-based cleanse is appropriate for most people. Spring Cleanses are powerful support for those who experience sluggish digestion and/or elimination, weight gain, a predisposition to respiratory illness, and seasonal colds and allergies. Joint pain, fatigue, stress, and insomnia are also regularly addressed through the cleanse process.
You’d want to sit this round out if you are pregnant, or less than 6 months out from chemotherapy or radiation. If you have a serious digestive health concern, contact Kara directly to inquire about the suitability of this process for you.
