This class is a Hatha-inspired class combined with the work of the BackMitra which aids in releasing tension in your neck, shoulders, upper to mid-back, and lower spine.
(When practicing at home a firmly rolled towel will work just as well. Or contact studio for purchase of your own BackMitra)
The BackMitra or town is a firm, supportive tool that when laying on top of it exerts pressure along the spinal column that provides a soft decompression for the intervertebral discs. This helps to create space in their students’ upper back and shoulder area.
