Do you ever wonder how your yoga changes the way you feel or why your mind may be calmer and thoughts clearer at the end of your practice? What are the principles behind the classic yoga practice? Let’s take a closer look!
Join Cynthia's Monday evening series to continue to explore Patanjali’s Eight Limb Path and how the elements of traditional yoga practices integrate and support each other.
Each week will include a deeper philosophical teaching and focus on one or more aspects of this complete yoga practice: body postures, breathing techniques, sensory control, concentration, meditation, and divine union or oneness.
- March 22: Asana (posture), Pranayama (breathing techniques)
- March 29: Asana, Pranayama, Pratyahara (sensory control)
- April 5: Asana, Pranayama, Pratyahara, Dharana (concentration)
- April 12: Asana, Pranayama, Pratyahara, Dharana, Dhyana (meditation)
- April 19: Samadhi (divine union or oneness)
