“The best bed that a man can sleep on is peace.” – Somali Proverb
Put on your best jammies and roll out your yoga mat for a peaceful practice designed to help the body prepare for a good night's sleep. We begin by warming up our bodies and letting go of the stress of the day, shaking it all out and moving into some poses to raise the temperature and the pulse. We incorporate some acupressure and tapping, energy work and the occasional yin pose, and then we gently bring it down and prepare for sleep with an extended Yoga Nidra.
Practicing from home presents the unique opportunity to have a gentle practice immediately before going to bed. And we still get the benefits of being in community with other yoga devotees.
Students are welcome to practice in their jammies; though not required, it is strongly recommended that we all practice on camera so alignments and modifications can be noted where necessary. Please log in early to ensure entry to class.
