Chair Yoga is one of the gentlest forms of yoga available and
makes yoga accessible to practitioners who find it difficult to
practice on the floor. Chair yoga is a wonderful way to improve
strength and flexibility and develop the many benefits of yoga
(reduce stress, improve focus, stretch and tone muscles, build bone
density, etc.).
In this 60-minute class we use the chair as a prop—it is the stable base for sitting and standing poses. This class is designed to provide challenge while giving support. All abilities welcome.
