Yin yoga is composed of slow-paced poses, primarily down on the mat, with poses being held for longer periods of time. Yin yoga poses apply moderate stress to the connective tissues - the tendons, fascia, and ligaments — with the aim of increasing circulation in the joints and improving flexibility. This is a more meditative approach to yoga which helps cultivate awareness of one's inner silence.

This class is an in studio class! During the COVID-19 pandemic CDC guidelines and state mandates will be followed. As of March 2021 1) You must pre-register for class prior to arrivimg at the studio, 2) masks must be worn when ever in the building, 3) social distancing will be followed so class size willbe limited, 4) you must bring your own mat and props (mat, 1-2 blocks, and a strap are recommended - new and used props are available for sale, and there will be a limited number of props available for rent during class), 5) If you cannot come to a class you have registered for you NEED TO CANCEL. The cancelation window is available up to an hour before class.
