Experience yoga on the water on a paddle board! This all levels class is designed for all levels of yogi and ideal for those new to yoga and/or paddle boarding. The experience includes SUP 101, an intro on land before heading out onto the water to familiarize you with the board and what to expect.
SUP Yoga is for those 18 years and over who know how to swim.
We have everything you need!
If you choose to BYOB (bring your own board), you must have: the required launch permits, you have your own paddle, and a personal flotation device as required by the Coast Guard and local authorities. SHY will provide an anchor for use during SUP Yoga class. You are responsible for transporting your own board to and from the SUP Yoga class location and inflating it (if applicable) to be ready for launch at class start time.
We recommend wearing athletic clothing that can get wet and water shoes or flip flops that can get wet and be easily removed once you are settled on your board. Also wear sunscreen!
