Ha" represents the Sun and "tha" the moon. Thousands of years old, Hatha Yoga guides Practitioners through breathwork with the Asanas toward reaching an energetic balance of the Mind and Body. Poses are more static- unlike a Vinyasa or Flow class where the poses are woven, Hatha moves with a slower approach, holding traditional Asana, and a deep focus on the breath.
Hatha Yoga can improve the Practitioner's mood, decrease stress and anxiety, tones the muscles of all large groups, improves posture, improves balance, and is a wonderful compliment to one's whole wellness.
