------ ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR -----
Ankita Patel
was born and raised in India with her family who practiced
Ayurvedic medicine. She teaches globally and currently
calls Virginia home!
Inspired by her
family's ayurvedic traditions and way of life, she witnessed first
hand the extreme benefits of an ayurvedic
holistic lifestyle. Because of this, in 1992, she
decided to go to a well known Ayurvedic Medicine College in India.
After 6yrs of
intense training she received her BAMS (Bachelors of Ayurvedic
Medicine and Surgery), eager to serve the community. She also
studied yoga in India as well as natural himalayn herbs and
meditation in Tibet.
After arriving
in the USA she started many successful businesses, while still
practicing and teaching Ayurveda. After some years, she decided to apply her
entrepreneurial skills to educating the community to plant
medicine and Ayurveda. Ankita continues to practice
Ayurvedic medicine since moving to the United States, helping many
transform their way of living.
Ankita
believes that food ,Herbs and spices is your pharmacy and if
you live a daily ayurvedic holistic lifestyle, you can
greatly prevent many negative health issues while improving your
quality of life.
