We are offering these classes as a perfect way to practice
from the safety of your home, without the use of props found in a
yoga studio. Our main prop will be a chair, preferably one with out
arms, so that your movement is not restricted, and we will be doing
a combination of seated and standing poses. Both beginners and
those with a more established practice will find that the stability
and support of the chair can allow you to sink deeper into your
practice and relax into places you typically hold tension in your
poses. These classes will be tailored for broad accessibility and
the poses we do will be variations of those found in a traditional
yoga class and offer the full range of stretching, strengthening,
mindfulness, and breath awareness you are used to in our
classes.
