CSY Warm Yin Yoga is our staff and student's favorite yoga class, held in a a mildly heated room. Yin yoga, based on the meridian system that is the heart of Traditional Chinese Medicine and acupuncture, goes beyond lengthening the muscles into compassionately opening the myofascia and gently stressing the connective tissue around and inside the joints. Long holds of basic seated poses interspersed with passive or active rest facilitates fuller access to the connective tissue and lasting structural evolution.
