Yin yoga is a practice of long-held postures (3-10 minutes)
designed to stress the joints and connective tissues in order to
maintain and support range of motion and nourish energy flow. This
practice is an amazing complement to more active practices and we
usually focus on the back, legs, and hips. Breathing practices,
guided visualizations, and readings are offered to explore
sensation, experience meditative stillness, and enhance overall
health and well-being. This class is suitable for most
levels.
Props are used in this class, please bringing a blanket and/or
towel to enhance your experience.
