The Reformer provides a tremendous advantage of “educating the body”, especially during one''s initial three months of training. Which is why we incorporate these classes, whenever possible, in everyone''s early training.
Be forewarned, however, many get hooked on the hugely satisfying full-body workout one gets on these marvelous and ingenious machines, as they quickly train the body, align the back and neck, and challenge the deep core muscles to develop flexibility, strength and balance.
Great for beginner Pilates students or those returning to exercise. Move through a series of exercises designed by Joseph Pilates to lengthen and strengthen your body. Challenge your body with flow that allows for a group of vigorous moves to be followed by one to catch your breath. All of the exercises incorporate the total body leaving you feeling balanced and walking away with improved posture. Offers a good base of exercises and is a great place to begin your reformer practice.
