High-Intermediate 2 level description:
A great course for those who have completed Spanish High Intermediate 1 level or similar.
Here is a summary of what students will learn by the end of the end of the High-Intermediate 2 level:
COMMUNICATION: Give advise, evoke imaginary situations, give opinions about actions and behaviors, express desires, express ignorance, express cause and goal, give advise and make proposals, talk about feelings about character and personality, talk about qualities about people and things.
GRAMMAR: Some uses of the conditional “te recomiendo/aconsejo/sugiero que” + present subjunctive, preterit imperfective of subjunctive, “no sabía que…”, imperfect of the subjunctive, some uses of “por” and “para”, correlation of some verb tenses in relative sentences, connectors to add, qualify, oppose and deny information.
VOCABULARY: Sports, traditions, “dar miedo/asco/pánico/pereza/vergüenza…”, vocabulary to talk about personal and affectionate relationships, urban tribes, some verbs with preposition.
Next level: Spanish High-Intermediate 2.3 or greater.
