Drop In Class - Preregistration required more than 2 hours in advance.
Musicals, whether they be for stage film or television, tell all sorts of diverse stories in very unique ways; there is no one formula to making a hit anymore! Therefore, it’s impossible to give a single name to the type of dancing performed in musicals.
This class explores the different styles of dance seen in musicals, old & new, and focussed heavily on story telling. Each month is structured to explore a different theme - a choreographer, a decade, a music influence, etc.
Beg/Inter. High Beginner to low intermediate level. Minimum 2 years of Jazz experience recommended.
Footwear: Jazz or Ballet shoes recommended, bare feet acceptable. Purchase Jazz and Ballet shoes at City Dance Corps.
