Beginner's Aerial is for those
new to aerial yoga and for those who prefer to practice the
foundational aspects of aerial yoga. You will learn the basic wraps
and postures so that you can invert, fly, and flow. We will
use the hammock to keep alignment, build strength, and increase
flexibility.
We suggest attending a minimum of 3 Beginners classes before moving into a Level 1 or 2 class. A natural progression for aerial yoga could be simply taking 3 beginners level classes and then moving on, but oftentimes 3-9 or more beginners level classes are appropriate depending on your needs. For questions about what's right for you please speak to the instructor of your current class.
No Jewelry or Chewing Gum Permitted. All jewelry including wedding rings, bracelets, necklaces, earrings must be removed prior to class. Jewelry can cause injury to self and also damage the fabric. Minimum age to participate is 14 years of age.
