The Circuits class in the Cardio Series combines aspects of high intensity interval training and endurance training. Clients will rotate through multiple stations with different movements at each station for a prescribed amount of time. There may be five stations with 2 minutes at each station and clients rotate through one round of each station and then takes a break after that 10 minutes. The stations are then repeated twice more, for a total of a 30 minute workout!
You'll get to know complex exercises that use your entire body for functional fitness or rotate through exercises that isolate specific parts of your body. Either way, clients will find this class helpful for keeping their heart rate at a moderate to high rate for longer periods of time than are presented in HIIT. Great for those looking to burn calories for an extended period, those looking to test themselves mentally and physically, and those who want to increase their proficiency in functional fitness movements.
