Creating a little movement with the breath leads to flow, centeredness, and feeling very chill. Ready for an evening of relaxation? Join Teresa for an hour of sweet mellow movements to stretch the body and guided meditation to relax the mind. She will introduce gentle stretching, breathing techniques and visualisations to guide you to a deeper state of rest and relaxation. This class is designed to open the body with gentle, slow, and traditional yoga postures and movements. It’s a combination of postures coordinated with the breath, performed at a gentle pace which allows time to be present in each pose. After some gentle movement, the class will transition to a restorative practice with longer holds, deeper stretches, and relaxation techniques. The class will close with a seated meditation practice designed to release mental, emotional, and physical tension, all of which will support and cultivate our capacity to be healthy, calm, aware, and fully present. This is an unheated class with an average room temperature of 80-85 degrees Farenheit.
