| Restorative Yoga | YTT | This 1-weekend training is appropriate for yoga teachers teaching Restorative Yoga to their students and for students wishing to deepen their own practice. Join Stephani & Ashleigh for a 1-weekend, 15-hour intensive training, Nov. 19-21 at Trailside.

Fri. Nov. 19: 7:15-9pm
Sat. Nov. 20: 11am-9pm ( with a small break for lunch)
Sun. Nov. 21: 11am-3pm
This course is registered as 15 hours of Continuing Education by Yoga Alliance. Cost: $375.
Restorative Yoga |15 Hours | November 19-21:
During this weekend, we will focus on training students how to confidently teach & practice Restorative Yoga. Restorative Yoga is a restful, healing style of yoga that pays special attention to the nervous system. Restorative poses are generally held longer & props are used to help the body come into a state of deep relaxation. It also incorporates the meditative aspect of yoga by focusing on the mind-body connection. During this training students will learn:
* The principles of Restorative Yoga
* How to successfully structure & sequence a Restorative Yoga class
* Many of the Restorative Yoga postures, their benefits, and their many variations
* How to utilize & teach with props
* An exploration of meditation & how to use it during a Restorative Yoga practice
* An overview of the nervous system & how Restorative Yoga affects it
* The history & philosophy of Restorative Yoga & its important application within our fast-paced society
* A verbal overview of hands-on adjustments to be applied to students in a Restorative Yoga class
* Restorative Yoga teaching voice & tone
* Yoga Nidra offerings within a Restorative Yoga class
