Yin Yoga involves mindfully working with seated and lying
postures, which are held for longer periods of time. The focus in
on the connective tissues in the body, with the aim of increasing
circulation in the joints and improving flexibility.
This Restorative Yin class takes you into gentle yin-like
postures, with more of focus on finding ease and support,
through the use of props. The session culminates with a deep,
meditative, guided relaxation practice of yoga nidra.
Please have props available such as: a blanket (or two), a
firm cushion or bolster if you have one, and an eye pillow if
desired.
