Yoga philosophy shares many elements with Positive Psychology. In this 4-hour workshop we will discuss the research from positive psychology including; cognitive reframing (pratipaksha bhavana), cultivating gratitude, and developing flow. This workshop will include lecture, group discussion, and guided practices. Yoga Alliance CEUs are available for participation in this training.
This class will be led by Dr. Kim Allen, a certified 500-hour teacher and 500-hour yoga therapist through the American Viniyoga Institute. Kim has her doctorate in Health Education and has been teaching yoga since 1996 to a wide range of specialty populations.
