We will work on improving flexibility in the legs, hip, shoulders and back, strengthening the body for intermediate/advanced level contortion skills and work on proper contortion technique.
There will be a different focus each week: chest stands, scorpions, closed bends, contortion balances.
Skill requirements: understanding of square splits, down to bridge from standing, hold Bridge 30 seconds, handstand facing the wall 30 seconds, working on chest stands, scorpions, closed bends, contortion balances.
You will need: wall space, yoga mat, at least 2 yoga blocks, foam roller, folding chair. This is not a Beginners course. Previous experience from acro, leg flexibility, back flexibility and handstand classes or private/group contortion training is required.
