In
this class, we use asanas (yoga postures), pranayama (breathing
practices), relaxation and meditation techniques aimed at reducing
stress, restoring the body and promoting restfulness and health.
Each week we focus on different theme. We start with a gentle warm
up, progress to restorative poses, then deep relaxation. The use of
props for support is encouraged as we hold in postures to promote
release of tension and holding in the muscles and deepening of the
breath. Evening Restorative Yoga is an all levels
class.
