<div>Mindful Stretch is a class to practice letting go and opening up in both mind and body. The physical practice consists of poses designed to isolate and gently stretch the connective tissues, (ligaments, tendons, fascia, etc.), of our joints. We will take time to settle in to each pose, allowing us to hold each for an extended period with little to no muscle excursion. This class helps promote greater flexibility and broader range of motion in our shoulders, back, hips and pelvis.</div>
<p>This class is as much a meditative practice as it is a physical one. At the start of each class a brief talk will be offered on subjects such as mindfulness, self-compassion, loving kindness, gratitude, etc. These may serve as a seed for meditation or choose your own subject for peaceful contemplation as we settle into each deep targeted stretch.</p>
<p>Level: All levels are welcome and will be able to benefit from this class, great for beginners</p>
<p>Studio Notes: This is a studio class with limited capacity to accommodate for social distancing. You will need to wear your mask at all times in the studio and cafe. Please bring your mat and equipment (strap, block, bolster, and/or blanket) as we are not offering any studio equipment at this time. Please be mindful and cancel within 24 hours if you cannot attend so others can take your spot.</p>
