This is a practice of letting go and opening up in both mind and body. Yin yoga classes consist of a few mostly floor poses held for an extended period using low intensity. Yin is designed specifically to stretch the connective tissues, (ligaments, tendons, fascia, etc.), of our joints. This style is as much a meditative practice as it is a physical one and will give you the opportunity for peaceful contemplation as you settle into each deep targeted stretch. Yin yoga will help promote flexibility in your hips, pelvis and lower back.
Level: All levels are welcome and will be able to benefit from this class.
Studio Notes: This is a studio class with limited capacity to accommodate for social distancing. Masks are optional- please do what is right for you. Bring your mat and equipment (strap, block, bolster, and/or blanket) or we have some you can use as well. Be mindful and cancel within 24 hours if you cannot attend so others can take your spot.
