Yin is a slow quiet practice that helps improve circulation, increase flexibility, widen range of motion and alleviate joint stiffness. Low intensity floor poses are held for increasing lengths of time for the purpose of making the body’s connective tissues longer and stronger. This is as much a meditative practice as it is a physical one and will give you the opportunity for peaceful contemplation as you settle into each deep targeted stretch opening up the space for suppressed emotions, thoughts and feelings to release.
Level: All levels are welcome and will be able to benefit from this class.
Studio Notes: This is a studio class with limited capacity. You can bring your mat and equipment (strap, block, bolster, and/or blanket) or we have some you can use. Be mindful and cancel within 24 hours if you cannot attend so others can take your spot.
