What does Chakra mean?
In Sanskrit, the word Chakra means “wheel” and the chakras are the constant spinning energy centers of your body. There are 7 main chakras and these relate to specific emotions, key body parts, nerve cells and organs.
Learn more about the chakras with this 8 week yoga series. Breaking down one chakra at a time, beginning with the root and working all the way through to the crown.
- Each week we will set intentions relating to one chakra at the beginning of each class. Practice will work on opening and balancing the chakra
with key chakra yoga poses and a meditation created specially for that chakra.
- The final week will focus on opening and balancing all of the charkas with a restorative yoga practice and chakra meditation.

PREREGISTRATION IS REQUIRED

Arrive at least 15 minutes before class.
You are welcome to bring your own yoga props and mat but we also have some you may use.
