A four week yoga course for women, with a focus on regulating your menstrual cycle, balancing hormonal fluctuations and alleviating the transition through menopause.

Week 1
Move gently through sequence of poses designed to support and stimulate the lymphatic system, a system which is the gateway to our biological ageing and affects our weight, energy and fluid retention, soothe the mind and reduce the effects of stress.
Week 2
Explore yoga breathing techniques (pranayama), restorative poses and face yoga to discover a deeper layer of self awareness and connect to your breath.
Working with the breath and deeply restorative postures improves respiration and can instill feelings of safety and nourishment. Opening the heart space supported by props helps to boost your mood while allowing the body to settle in stillness.
Week 3
Invite some yin into your life to calm the brain and regulate the sympathetic nervous system. Forward bending helps to reduce external distractions and soothe the mind, reducing stress.
Week 4
A combination of supported inversions and restorative postures. Inversions can help with insomnia, they ground the body’s energy, reduce anxiety and settle irritability. Restorative yoga poses help to regulate sleep and encourage a deep state of relaxation.
