The word Hatha translates to "force". Another translation is sun (ha) / moon (tha). Hatha Yoga is the root, where all other forms of yoga have derived from. We will move through intermediate level postures to balance our right and left sides - (masculine/feminine) - (sun/moon). The pace of a Hatha flow class is slower than Vinyasa, while keeping with the more physically challenging asana. We'll hold our asanas for a longer time and incorporate deep stretches throughout class. Class will end with a guided meditation, where you'll be able to fall into a deep relaxation following our physical practice.
