At this time of year, we honor many holidays – Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Solstice, and others around the world. What we find in most holidays this time of year is the theme of light. It is a time of darkness in the natural world – short days and long nights. Whether we are honoring the light of the sun, the flickering glow of a candle, or the sparkle of Christmas lights, we all have what is called inner light, which Patanjali, in Yoga Sutra I.26, says is free from grief or sorrow.
Join Cheryl Kravitz on Saturday, December 24th for a class to celebrate the light we all bring to the world. We will practice simple asana, breathwork, and yoga nidra.
