Join Mary for a practical anatomy class dedicated to realistic and reasonable movement “cues.” Many of us are working overtime to fit our teaching techniques to a digital or a physically distanced studio. Thus, even more of us are working overtime to figure out how to interpret instructional language without the benefit of in-person interaction. Mary will focus on how to use our knowledge of skeletal anatomy to frame safe, effective instructional requests on the mat. After an interactive tour of the primary bony landmarks of the body, she will share positioning options that make sense for beginners and fellow nerds alike whether practicing solo or with others.
Please note: This workshop is open to vaccinated folks. Please wear your mask in common spaces. We thank you for your understanding.
