The Sanskrit word bhakti comes from the root bhaj, which means “to adore or worship God.” According to Yogi scholar, David Frawley… “the path of bhakti yoga consists of concentrating one’s mind, emotions and senses on the divine.”
It is in the spirit of bhakti yoga to show our devotion to the Lord Jesus Christ. This Christmas, bring more spirituality to your routine with the true reason for the season. In this Candlelit Restorative Class, you will hear scripture from the book of Matthew and Luke as you settle in to your supported restorative poses. A silent time of reflection will follow so you can fully allow the love of Jesus to enfold you.
Christ Divine is the center of the Christmas holiday. Let’s celebrate this glorious season together. Bring your mat and water, and any other props you have. If you don’t have your own personal collection of props, we will have everything you need. This event is open to everyone and donations, or a love offering, is gratefully accepted, with 100% being donated to Stark Blessing Box Initiative. More information can be found here: https://www.starkblessingbox.com. Registration is preferred so we can set up the appropriate amount of spaces. Masks are optional.
