Join Colee Garr for a workshop on inversions Saturday,
February 12 from 10am to Noon.
*discuss the benefits of inverting the body
*learn where the stability comes from for each posture
*practice each step to enter and exit poses gracefully &
with confidence
*focus will be on headstand, handstand, & shoulderstand
and their variations
*all levels are invited as we will build from the base
up
*those with experience will fly on to different variations of
the asana
*those new to being inverted will take each phase with
patience and curiosity; and everyone will be invited to go where
the intelligence of the body allows.
The best practice is patience; and feeling safe and a bit of
joy in each step along the way.
I look forward to offering this inversion worksop! It is
so beneficial to get upside down. Once you learn these skills
it's like you have a medicine cabinet full of preventive,
stress relieving, energizing, & strengthening remedies at your
disposal. Inversions are basically an elixir of life and invigorate
the body mentally & physically. Let's do it!
