Forrest Yoga is a core and breath-focused practice that works to integrate strength and fluidity into each movement. Starting off slow with pranayama practices and then building up mindfully, the practice encourages each person to experience each breath fully and find the freedom in standing in their own strength. This practice is great for those with injuries and general discomfort or pain, as alignment and safe sequencing is a primary focus. Noting that habits on the mat also show up as habits in life, Forrest Yoga encourages everyone to look closely at themselves with compassion and work in ways on the mat that can begin to change those habits. All bodies and all levels welcome.
