Awakenings Pole Dance Fitness welcomes you to try out the most
fun and time effective workout you can find. This introductory
class will ease you into our unique program, and get you acquainted
with your new dance partner: a vertical pole! We work with all body
types and fitness levels and tailor our instruction to your
individual needs.
Whether you are brand new to pole or just trying to build on to
your Level 1 skills...this class is great for all beginner pole
dancers!
This class focuses on learning the skills/tricks, and building the
upper body strength and flexibility that will help students prepare
for the next level. Students will be warmed-up using a variety of
dance and conditioning styles, then learn basic pole work and fun
choreography, and finish with a proper cool-down and
stretch.
Attire: Shorts are a must for pole classes and allow students to
use their legs to grip. Shoes/heels are optional.
Be sure to take off jewelry before class and refrain from using
body lotions prior to class.
