This
course covers the physical, mental and spiritual effects of anxiety
and depression, and yoga techniques and practices that can be
applied to ease these states.
An
understanding of Kleshas, Dukha and obstacles to living in balance
help the yoga teacher lead students to develop a deeper awareness
of the physical and emotional toll anxiety and depression has on
one’s life and body, and to provide tools to ease the symptoms for
clients, while also understanding the need to solve the underlying
causes of these states and how yoga can be a part of the healing
process.
