important for optimal health and it allows your body to function at
its best. Being well-rested at night helps you feel alert and
refreshed in the morning. Join Yoga Therapist Tina Pringle for this
insightful six-week program, that will help you create a healthy
sleep routine.
If you ever struggle to get to sleep, stay asleep or if you wake feeling unrested, this class will help you unwind and move into a state of deep relaxation. We will move you from the stress response to the rest and digest response to induce healing.
Throughout the classes we will explore:
- How to soothe and calm your nervous system
- Inversions to trigger the relaxation response
- Self massage & tapping
- Pranayama to relieve stress & anxiety
- Yoga nidra – yogic sleep
- Building a bedtime routine that sets you for deep rest
This virtual class can be enjoyed from the comfort and convenience of home. Be sure to get as comfortable as possible, and we encourage you to wear your PJ's. Also, please bring: a bolster or 2 bed pillows, yoga belt or a long scarf, a rolled thin blanket or towel, and a chair. Optional yoga block and eye pillow.
This class includes audio recordings and written practice plans to help you build a consistent bedtime routine.
