Yoga Nidra is a yoga practice that provides the equivalent of 3 hours of deep sleep during a 45 minute guided meditation.
This deep ‘Yogic Sleep’ allows the cells in your mind and body to repair and rejuvenate. The practice also greatly reduces stress. Your mind will be guided into a deep meditation, allowing you to experience the benefits of meditation and the Theta Brain Wave.
We will begin with a Cacao ceremony, then move deeper into basic breathing exercises and stretching, followed by a 45 minute Guided Yoga Nidra Meditation. During the Yoga Nidra portion, the lights will be dimmed and we will be lying on our backs.
Please bring a yoga mat, blankets, pillows, and any props that will help support position your body for deep relaxation. Please wear clothes that make you feel comfortable and come with an open heart to fully enjoy this experience.
