This 4-week workshop style class will focus on the strength and coordination needed for arm balances and inversions. In an armbalancing pose, all your weight is held on the arms, but it is not just about arm strenght.
You will learn some strengthening techniques that will give you the confidence you need to sustain these difficult poses. Safety is an important consideration in all yoga, and when you go upside-down it is even more important. We will also use this time to dicsuss alternative pose setups and prop use for your individual needs.
This workshop will build on the lessons of each class, so please plan to attend all four classes.
