This course is an introduction to the concepts and
techniques of mindfulness meditation. We will explore the nature of
awareness, learn the benefits of meditation, and apply a variety of
mediation techniques. Each class will consist of a short talk, one
or more guided meditations, and time for questions and
reflections.
Three classes, each
class 1 hour and 15 minutes in length. While
it is encouraged to attend all three classes, each class is taught
as an independent unit so previous attendance is not necessary
(drop-ins are welcome). Please bring
meditation cushion or we will have blankets and bolsters available
for use.
