This is a slower paced class,
mindfully moving and breathing while holding poses longer.
Slow flow brings the element of
time into the practice. Moving slowly and consciously, you will
investigate your edge, yet still feel a relaxed and renewed
experience.
It is structured similarly to a
Vinyasa class in that it includes sun salutations and moving with
awareness from one posture to the next, with the pace slowed a
little bit.
Just because “slow” is in the
title, do not think that means easy. Students find the Slow Flow to
be every bit as challenging as vinyasa or power yoga just in a
different way.
This is an all-levels class,
with on cue modifications in a non
competitive atmosphere, but not suitable for a brand-new
student. This class is geared towards all practitioners
looking to build muscle strength and stamina.
