Continue the journey into the beautiful art of belly
dance!
This class starts where Belly Dance 1 leaves off. Let's
call it, Advanced Beginner and up! In this class you'll keep
driling the basic isolations you need for your solid foundation,
but then start to layer with zills (finger cymbals), shimmies, and
other isolations.
Learn new and exciting things about your muscle groups, how to
access your inner core to create beautiful and fluid movements.
We'll also work on arms, posture, and footwork, as they are
essential to proper execution of isolations, as well as
transitions. Take your dance from drilling - to
dancing!
We will use the mirror to refine technique, as well as
traveling across the floor, and put together combinations.
Both sides of the brain will work, as we drill and memorize,
as well as interpret and flow. From sequencing to
improvisation, you'll find yourself a stronger dancer all
around.
As your muscles strengthen, your control will improve and you
will feel yourself begin to flow wiht the music! Self-confidence,
coordination, and comfort inside your own skin will continue to
grow, to bring out your inner Goddess!
This class is hybrid, and is also taught in-person.
