Yin/Yang Yoga offers a fusion of an alignment based flow yoga (Yang Yoga) with Yin Yoga, which refers to longer held passive seated and reclining postures (2-5 minutes). Yin poses lengthen muscles, connective tissues and fascia creating a balance of exquisite relaxation through deep stretches. The Yang flow includes joint mobilization movements, developing core strength and mobility in the muscles to complement the Yin practice. Classes are often started with short meditation and/or pranayama exercise. Yin/Yang Yoga is accessible to all ages and levels of ability." The room will be maintained warm around 78 degrees (+/- 3), but not heated to a higher temperature like our regular heated classes.
