Yoga Living Series - Your Journey to Wellness
These workshops are designed to help you thrive on and off of
the mat. Taking care of yourself makes you stronger for everyone in
your life.
Would you like to deepen your understanding of yoga (asanas
& philosophy) but are not interested in completing a 200-hour
Teacher Training program? We have put together a
series of workshops that cover a variety of subjects designed to
allow you to deepen your yoga experience. You will learn more
about your body & mind through asanas (postures), yoga
philosophy readings & discussion, and self-reflection.
This series is a very manageable 22-hour commitment over the course
of a year. It includes:
- Ten 60-minute evening philosophy classes: once per month September-June
- Three 4-hour weekend workshops: one each in the fall, winter
and spring.
- September 18th: Pranayama, Pratyahara, Dharana, Dhyana & Samadhi

- January 15th: Body Systems

- March 19th: Build Your Own 8-Limb Practice
These workshops are also part of Serene Yoga Studio’s 200hr Teacher Training program. Any 200hr Registered Yoga Teacher can accrue the hours from this workshop series as CYA credits. Serene Yoga Studio is a Canadian Yoga Alliance CYA-RYS Gold Yoga School. All Serene Yoga Action Workshops are eligible for credits with Canadian Yoga Alliance.
