We get it, starting any kind of martial art or combat sport can be pretty intimidating. Let us give you an intensive introductory session with other beginners! Instead of dropping into a regular intro class, with this crash course you'll get a mini-seminar on all the basics you'll need to start training.
We'll cover the following topics, and probably much more:
- Stance and movement
- Basic Striking (punches, kicks, elbows, knees, etc.)
- Basic Defense
- How to hold pads for a partner
- Q&A about training equipment
This class is definitely intended for beginners, and it's totally fine if you don't have any experience at all!
During the second hour of this course we will cover more advanced concepts. This is usually a showcase for some new drills and/or techniques we are introducing, so this is perfect for our more experienced members!
