Strength, Stillness, and Sound
A large part of yoga is about balance, not just the balance from standing on one foot or mastering your crow pose, but the balance between strength and flexibility, active and passive, yin and yang. Achieving this balance is a constant practice and means different things for different people. With this two hour workshop we will explore that balance through breath work, asana, and sound. We will take time to focus on our breath before moving into an active, strength building power flow followed by an extended time to slow down and connect to the yin, or passive portion of our practice. To top it all off, we will end with a sound bath to allow for time to absorb the benefits of our practice.
